Moving to any location can be a stressful experience and moving to another state is no exception. One thing to consider when moving, especially if you have children, would be the schools in the area. Connecticut has many top schools in the state and there are those that you can choose to live near. West School is located in the New Canaan School District and is ranked number one in the state in elementary schools. The grades range from preschool to fourth grade. There are a little over 500 students in the school and teacher student ratios are very low. Worthington Hooker School is located in the New Haven School District and ranges from kindergarten to eighth grade. This school is a small school and only has 405 students total. Teacher ratios to students are low and they are ranked third in the state. Middle schools are also located in Connecticut and most schools are small with high test scores and low ratios of students to teachers. Middlebrook School is located in the Wilton School District and has 1,010 students in sixth through eighth grades. The school is ranked second among middle schools and has the second highest test scores.
