On Demand Karaoke Idol Contest

Restaurants from around the state will be sending their most talented employees to compete for a prize pack donated by Comcast!

St. Vincent’s Hospital and Swim Across the Sound have come up with this very unique program to provide assistance to the employees in the hospitality industry who are having financial trouble due to cancer-related illness.

Clothes Make the Man will be accepting the following donations at their booth # 170 at the Home Living Connecticut Annual Home Show.

  • Quality men's interview appropriate clothing
  • Men's business suits
  • Men’s sports jackets
  • Men’s dress slacks
  • Men’s dress shirts
   (preferably, white, blue or beige)
   • Ties
   • Dress socks
   • Dress shoes
   • Dress belts.

They will accept some "business casual items such as khakis. All items must be in excellent condition, free from rips, tears, stains, cigarette holes, and so forth, clean and preferably on hangers. We ask that items donated be current style, nothing from before 1990, no pastel colors, seers-sucker, etc.
Please no women's clothing, underwear, nightwear, children's clothing, sneakers, bathing suits, or jewelry.
Please no French Cuff shirts unless you are donating cufflinks with them.
